A total of 240 people can be accommodated in the modern five-storey new building in Kritzendorf, 210 in the nursing area and 30 in the residential area. Unlike other homes, Kritzendorf has consciously decided to also offer residential places. These are equipped with a refrigerator, TV, balcony, anteroom, bathroom, shower and WC for sprightly senior citizens who live here in a self-determined manner and make use of the services offered by the home according to their wishes and needs.

The house is not divided into wards, but into three care groups per floor, each with 14 beds. The centre of each group is a spacious, friendly lounge area with a kitchenette and two terraces. Here the residents not only eat their meals together, but also like to spend the time in between.

Kritzendorf with its 2457 inhabitants stretches along the slopes of the Vienna Woods towards the river Danube and is characterised by an idyllic alluvial landscape. It is a district of the city of Klosterneuburg (approx. 25,000 inhabitants). Vienna, the Federal capital of the Republic of Austria can be reached in about 45 minutes by public transport.
